Khidr (A) replied:
"I told you before the time you will not be able to have patience with me. And that has happened."

Nabi Musa (A) said:
"I have completely forgotten about that. So do not blame me for not having remembered.

Rasulallah (SM) said that this first question by Musa was truly as a result of having forgotten.

Then as they sailed, a bird came along at the side of the boat and placed its beak into the water, taking a drop of water. Khidr saw this and said:

"This is an indication of your and mine knowledge in comparison with Allah's knowledge. Our knowledge is like that drop of water.

The boat reached the shore and the two of them disembarked. They walked along the shofe until they reached an open plain where some children were playing. Khir too one of the children did killed him. Once again Nabi Musa (A)  could not bear it and he said: "You have taken the We ot an innocent child without any justification. This is very bad. 

Khidr (A) replied: "Did I not tell you from before that you will not be able to have patience with me?
